4 year B.Tech. (8 Semesters)

The Senate approved the proposal for late registration on grounds of self-illness, calamity in the family without late fee upto 3 days and with late fee upto 7 days. No late semester registration shall be permitted even with late fee after 7 days. However, apart from these two clauses [self-illness or calamity in the family], the Dean (Academics) be authorized to take appropriate decision on ‘convincing reasons’ on the merit of each case.

5 year Dual Degree (10 Semesters)

One Director’s Gold Medal with effect from 10th Convocation onward be awarded to the 5-Year Dual Degree students.

The Senate approved introduction of ‘Proficiency in Project Work Prize’ for the Dual Degree students. The award be given after completion of their VIII semester as per the existing criteria and guidelines for the B.Tech students.

M.Sc.

The Ph.D and M.Sc/M.Tech students who missed the end-semester examination on the grounds of self-illness or calamities in their families may be allowed to appear for missed examination with full credit, with due recommendation of the Standing Committee consisting of Dean (Academics), Dean (SA), One Medical Officer, AR (Academics). Respective HoS may be co-opted with the Standing Committee.

M.Tech

The Ph.D and M.Sc/M.Tech students who missed the end-semester examination on the grounds of self-illness or calamities in their families may be allowed to appear for missed examination with full credit, with due recommendation of the Standing Committee consisting of Dean (Academics), Dean (SA), One Medical Officer, AR (Academics). Respective HoS may be co-opted with the Standing Committee.

Ph.D. Programmes
