IIT Bhubaneswar from its inception has actively involved in transferring the knowledge to greater community of the society for national development. In this process, many workshops, conferences (national and international), short-term courses, training programs are being conducted regularly at IIT Bhubaneswar.
About CEP
Continuing Education is an initiative of IIT Bhubaneswar which aims to manage the complex challenges and meet the strategic needs of society by offering knowledge upgradation programmes to the working professionals of the Industry, Govt. and Academia in the various areas of engineering, science, technology, humanities, management, education and research. Continuing Education effectively participates and contributes to the institute’s commitment of providing a broad base of learning opportunities through the following major activities:
- Academic programmes (Ph.D.) under the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) (sponsored by the AICTE).
- Short-term courses (STCs) under QIP (sponsored by the AICTE).
- Continuing Education Programmes (CEPs) for professionals from industry.
- Conducting conferences/seminars/workshops/symposium.
- Web enabled continuing education programmes for industries.
- Courses under Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN).
